So far, November has been the worst month of the year for me. I started the month with a £40 fine for parking on yellow lines on a Saturday. It was my first ever fine since i started driving! I thought i needed to save some cash and decided to bulk things in bulk, so i parked on these nasty yellow lines so that i didnt have to carry the 15 litre tank of oil that i was purchasing. Stupid me! Made a saving of about £2 but spent £40 on fine!! That was not all for that day because i remembered filling up on fuel where it was like 5 pence cheaper but the bloody swipe card device at the station was working and i had to take out money from a cash machine which charged me £1.85 for the transaction. Good example of being penny-wise but pound-foolish!
Couple of days later, Tiscali was messing around with my broadband. I was supposed to get my broadband on the 2nd of November but i didnt. It was delayed so i cancelled my contract and ordered from Orange instead where i was getting free broadband. Because it takes like 10 working days to install it, i thought to myself, i might as well use dial-up for the time being. Pretty bad idea because Streamline.net number that i was dialing was a premium number and my BT bill came to £64. And i really thought it was a penny a minute. Serves me right, as it didnt read the small print which says 1p/min off-peak and 4p/min peak!!! Hell with it, and i still havent got my broadband with Orange. It has been delayed again!!!!!
That is not all unfortunately. Today i found out that i have gone beyond my overdraft limit with HSBC. Now this means i will have to pay a charge of either £50 or £25 (if they are generous).
We are only on the 21st of this month and have 9 more days to go – fingers crossed there wont be any more ‘bad thing’ to write about!
aww bless 🙂 take it easy stability is on its way :p just round the corner…can u see it?:)
