Free tool for MS SQL Server front end
For those of you looking for a free front end for MS SQL Server, Aqua Data Studio 4.7 is the product you need to check out. It supports most databases (if not all) like Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Sybase, Informix and DB2.
It is a nice database query and administration tool that allows developers to easily create, edit, and execute SQL scripts, as well as browse and visually modify database structures.
It has support for the following OS: Windows, Linux, OSX, Solaris and Java[tm]. But the free license is only for educational institutions and personal home use.
I personally find it really useful to create stored procedures, triggers and views. So if you would like to get yourself a copy of the product, here’s the URL:
